As we have seen throughout history, being a Christian requires more than just saying, “I’m a Christian”, more than just saying that you believe in God, or believe there is a God? Not only do you need to live as Jesus, our example did, and to love your neighbour as yourself, you will need to endure to the end. What does this mean? To believe is an action word. You must exude characteristics of what being a Christian requires. You must die to yourself daily and follow the pattern that Jesus and the apostles exhibited. It’s not about going through the motions, and accepting that as if you’ve reached the pinnacle and have done all that you can do? To believe is to act upon those beliefs. If you think that simply believing is all that is required from you, then you are tragically mistaken. Hebrews 10:36 says this: “For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” The word “patience” in the verse, also translates to “endurance”. Here you can see that there are some requirements, and that is, “that you have done the will of God.” Hopefully, after you have read the “endure to the end” page, you will have come out of it with more knowledge than before. Remember to pray for revelation prior to reading the word of God.
