Jesus Himself said, John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”  The Spirit being, the Holy Spirit of Jesus Himself. The Spirit of truth, of discernment, of power, and every gift that the Holy Spirit has.  1John 3:24 says this: “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.”   Have you received the Holy Spirit?  If not, why not?  Here is what Ephesians 1:13,14 says:  “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”  And for all the people who don’t believe that the Holy Spirit is for us today, here is what Acts 2:38,39 says: “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptised every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”  Ever since then, all generations that have followed are “to all that are afar off” which means even us today!  The Holy Spirit is for today, and everyday, and tomorrow.  All the gifts of the Spirit are available to us and are valid just as it was then!  Please read the Holy Spirit and its Gifts page and see for yourself.
